National IMA Awards
In 2012 G Baker Roofing Ltd were awarded 1st place in the national IMA awards. Our project at the Kent County Council HQ in Sesions House, Maidstone was nominated for the Eco-Active Roofing category. The ceremony was held at the Hurlingham Club in London.
In 2013 we received two awards at the national IMA ceremony held at the Institute or Technology and Engineering at Savoy Place in London. G Baker Roofing Ltd were awarded 2nd place in Liquid Waterproofing category for works undertaken at Admirality Pier at The Port of Dover. We also claimed second place in the Eco-Active roofing category for out project at The University of Kent.
In 2014 the company gained 3rd place in the IMA awards for works undertake at Bluebell Short Breaks Unit in Kent. G Baker Roofing Ltd were awarded in the Reinfoced Bitumen Roofing category for the project at the Kent County Council property. The awards ceremony took place at The Church House Conference Centre in Westminister, London.
Reinforced Bitumen Category
Our project at Lordswood School in Kent claimed 1st place in the Reinforced Bitumen Category in the 2015 IMA awards. The presentation was made at One Great George Street in central London. With over 60 entry’s across 8 category’s we were delighted to be recognised for our exceptional work throughout the industry.
Pitched Roofing
G Baker Roofing Ltd also received notification in the pitched roofing marketplace. We were awarded 2nd place in a national competition for the manufacturer SIGA. Our work at the stores roof in The Port of Dover was recognised and chosen over numerous entry’s from throughout the country.
Health and Safety is something that G Baker Roofing Ltd take extremely seriously and we were delighted to be recognised with this award. We were announced as a Gold Excellence performers in the National Federation of Roofing Contractors Safety in Roofing Awards for our completed work in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
In 2016 G Baker Roofing Ltd were invited to Manchester to celebrate the IMA 20 year anniversary. We were delighted to pick up 3rd place in the Eco-Activ roofing category. We were awarded for our works undertaken at Harold Street in Dover, Kent.
